Judy Bowness
Meet Judy Bowness; wife of Canadian NHL coach Rick Bowness, the interim coach for the Dallas Stars.
Judy’s husband initially joined the Dallas Stars as an assistant coach on June 22, 2018; they named him interim head coach after Jim Montgomery was fired on December 10, 2019.
Prior to signing with Dallas, coach Bowness worked for the Phoenix Coyotes, New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, Boston Bruins and the Winnipeg Jets, the last team he played for before his retirement in 1983.
In addition to the Jets, he played for the St. Louis Blues, Detroit RedWings and the Atlanta Flames.
Mrs. Bowness was born in Halifax, Canada. She is the proud momma of three, daughter Kristen and sons Ryan and Richard, married to Jodee
